Sandglass Theater moves the show out of the barn and onto the web

At Sandglass Theater in Putney, puppet shows aren’t just for kids. The artists at Sandglass — who tour internationally in addition to performances in their 60-seat, renovated barn theater — believe a puppet is “other than us, but it lives through us,” serving as an effective lens to tell stories. Sandglass also has performances for kids, so the whole family can enjoy, depending on the show.

With the advent of COVID-19, Sandglass moved its performance into a digital realm through its “summer streaming” series. The theater also has an archive of shows available on its website for purchase.
