Taconic Music Festival is one of the great satellites of New York City’s classical music scene in Southern Vermont during the summer. The Manchester-based festival occupies four weeks in July and August, featuring performances of great composers by renowned classical artists. In addition, young musicians learn from the festival’s featured performers as part of the annual Chamber Music Intensive.

This summer, the festival will feature works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Schumann, among others. Visitors will be able to enjoy this summer’s performances in person, though at a reduced capacity. For those who prefer to enjoy from home, a livestream will be available. Both the livestream and in-person attendance are free of cost and open to the public.
