For the past 24 years, fans of all things garlic have spent their Labor Day weekend having a “stinkin’ good time” at the Southern Vermont Garlic and Herb Festival. For fans of the stinky bulb, it’s the place to find everything under the sun that can be made with garlic, including garlic ice cream, garlic jelly, pickled garlic, roasted garlic and garlic braids. And, of course, it’s the place to buy garlic bulbs of every variety.

Festival-goers will have to wait to celebrate its silver anniversary, as festival organizers have announced that its 25th anniversary will now be celebrated the weekend of Sept. 4 and 5, 2021.
